Este manual se ocupa de la lengua viva, del ingles de las conversaciones cotidianas, el que aparece en las películas y en la tele, el que surge con frecuencia en el habla pero del que no se ocupan habitualmente las escuelas de idiomas o los colegios.
En sus diferentes capítulos recopila miles de frases y expresiones, tanto del ingles británico como del americano, organizadas temáticamente para facilitar las búsquedas, y marca los diferentes registros (coloquial, vulgar, familiar, formal) para delimitar claramente el uso de estas expresiones.

This manual deals with the living language, with the English of everyday conversations, the English that appears in movies and on TV, the English that frequently arises in speech but is not usually dealt with in language schools or schools.
In its different chapters it compiles thousands of phrases and expressions, both from British and American English, organized thematically to facilitate searches, and marks the different registers (colloquial, vulgar, familiar, formal). to clearly delimit the use of these expressions.
