The brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are the authors of such famous children's stories as Little Red Riding Hood, Hansel and Gretel or Snow White. Between 1812 and 1857 they compiled and edited stories from different oral traditions. The result was this collection of stories in which kings and princesses, witches, peasants and magical animals make up a fantastic universe that has survived to this day.
